Hi! My name is Jaime Barefoot, and I’m a Carteret County native and a Real Estate professional with Blue Water Real Estate.

My professional designations are CSA (Certified Seller's Agent), ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), and SRS (Seller's Representative Specialist).

The Crystal Coast is such a wonderful place to live, work and play. The small communities and rich local history is are really what Carteret County is all about. Locals are friendly and love to share stories about years past and you may get lucky and hear a few fishing stories along the way.

Carteret County is also famous for the town of Beaufort (third oldest town in the state) where the famous pirate Blackbeard lived and his ship Queen Anne's Revenge is wrecked off of our coast . Carteret County also boasts of the third oldest town in North Carolina, Beaufort by the Sea, where the infamous Black Beard the pirate lived, and his ship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge, was wrecked just off of our coast. Here you’ll also find the spectacular Cape Lookout Light House and the wild ponies of Shackleford Banks.

Carteret County hosts several annual events including the North Carolina Seafood Festival, The Crystal Coast Boat Races, The Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament, The Chocolate Festival, The Baldhead Men’s Convention and more.

You want speed? Come see us in September for the Crystal Coast Boat Races also at the Morehead City Waterfront. If you’re into fishing we have plenty of tournaments you can enter our biggest being the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament. There is always something to do or see on the Southern Outer Banks. Come and experience it for yourself.
